Dr Tom Kemp
I am an Emeritus Fellow of St John’s College. In September 2009, after 37 years, I retired as Lecturer in the Zoology Department and Curator of the Zoological Collections in the Oxford University Museum of Natural History.
My research interests are in vertebrate palaeontology, and in particular the origin and evolution of mammals. I am also interested more widely in the evolutionary processes and ecological circumstances by which major new taxa evolve. I have published several books on these subject.
